Chapter 1 release date

Hey everyone.

I wanted to share some progress made on the game until now. I still consider that the game will not be a demo anymore after the release of chapter 1.  Quite recently I found the inspiration about adding a lot of new mechanics in the game and the character of ADAM. At this date (February 7th) I'm considering that 3/5 of the work is currently done for this chapter. Unfortunately, because English is not my native language, I'll need to correct all the mistakes I've done on this chapter before publishing it. That's why even though I work on it a lot since a few days, I'll only publish it around February 14th 2022. I wanted to give something to do for all the people who would be "alone" for Valentines Day because of the current situation or because nobody to spend it with.

Some corrections also happened to the prologue of the game. They will be published in the same file than chapter 1. The credits and some music have been changed because of some likely to be issues with copyright and anything like that. That's why a lot of them have been changed. The game will still be free for the whole development and after the development of this one.

What changes can happen in the new version:

• Music changes for some scenes because of watermarked versions / wanting to avoid any copyright claim for any song used.
• Credits file has been changed to an offline html page with all the links needed.
• ADAM will be added to the game, possibility to meet him under some circumstances.
• New illustrations will be added for the chapter (currently 3).
• Possibility to play a game with Kaoru.
• Possibility to text Kaoru.
• New backgrounds for new scenes.

The french patch which was announced on Twitter will be delayed for another version because of the timeframe and the fact that I still have no understanding on how to make a translation file on Ren'Py.

It was suggested that I could make a web version of the game. I'll probably do it after putting chapter 1 online. I could also, in few days make a gameplay video if my setup allows me to record the game while talking . Or a trailer will be created for the game to add it on the itch.io page.
